Do you have a passion for education and a foundational understanding of SEO? Are you a data-driven, highly organised individual ready to play a pivotal role in optimising our website for millions of customers? We are seeking a Curation Executive to join our team. You will be key to ensuring our customers find relevant content swiftly and effortlessly, while strategically curating and structuring content for maximum SEO impact.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Execute and develop a coherent information architecture by collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Country Managers and Educational Content Leads, to benefit both user experience and search engine optimisation.
- Manage and update the entire website navigation structure, including the top navigation and mega menus, by adding, removing, re‑ordering, and restructuring menu items and content.
- Contribute to SEO hygiene and traffic protection by understanding category structure changes and clearly articulating the implications to non-SEO stakeholders.
- Hands‑on create and build category structures directly within the Content Management System (CMS).
- Proactively monitor and maintain 'category health,' identifying support areas and seeking optimisation opportunities.
- Execute elements of established SEO migration and maintenance processes (e.g., implementing redirects, managing obsolete categories and resources) as assigned by the Curation Manager via the ticketing system.
- Collaborate across the business to resolve issues and continuously improve category structures and associated processes.
What You Will Bring (Skills & Experience)
- We are looking for a candidate who is curious and inquisitive, always seeking to understand the "why" behind requests and exploring ways to proactively solve problems.
- Entry-level experience in an SEO role is essential.
- Experience working with SEO platforms like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Search Console.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheet work (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel).
- A foundational understanding of SEO principles and their impact on site structure and traffic.
- Demonstrable strong organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in articulating technical implications and structural rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic experience working with large datasets, ideally on Google Analytics and Tableau.
