As Twinkl continues to grow internationally, we’re looking for an experienced International HR Business Partner to help shape and support our global people strategy with a particular focus on our US operations.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced senior HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with operational delivery. As our International HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with international leaders to translate business strategy into scalable people solutions that drive performance, growth and organisational effectiveness across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while also owning the day-to-day operational people processes that keep our international teams running effectively.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with international business goals
  • Support the scaling of our US operations in line with Twinkl values, policies and ways of working
  • Lead strategic workforce planning activities, balancing growth, capability and cost
  • Drive operational excellence across international HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Build strong relationships across UK and international teams to create a more connected global approach
  • Manage and optimise our relationship with TriNet and other external partners
  • Coach and support leaders to make confident, high-quality people decisions
  • Shape organisational structures and ways of working that enable agility and accountability
  • Lead the localisation of global people initiatives to ensure regional relevance while maintaining strategic consistency
  • Ensure compliance with US employment legislation and local regulatory requirements
  • Use people data, engagement insights and organisational diagnostics to identify trends, risks and opportunities

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach and thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment. You’ll bring:

  • Significant experience operating in a senior HR Business Partner role within an international or global business
  • Strong working knowledge of US and UK employment practices and people operations
  • Experience managing Employer of Record (EoR) or Co‑employer relationships (TriNet experience would be advantageous)
  • The ability to influence, coach and constructively challenge senior leaders
  • Strong organisational design and workforce planning capability
  • A commercially minded approach, with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
  • Experience leading complex change initiatives across multiple regions or jurisdictions
  • A passion for improving processes, simplifying ways of working and driving operational efficiency
  • Confidence working within matrixed, fast‑growth or scaling environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly across global teams

How We’ll Look After You

  • Westfield Health Cash Plans allows users to claim money back (up to set limits) for everyday healthcare expenses, such as dental check‑ups, optical care (eye tests and glasses), and therapy treatments like physiotherapy.
  • 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (pro rata)
  • A dedicated “Me Day” each year
  • A paid charity volunteering day each year
  • Free Twinkl subscriptions
  • A friendly, welcoming and supportive environment
  • A people‑first culture where collaboration and kindness matter
  • Flexible working with opportunities to work from home
  • We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
  • Enhanced pension contributions
  • Life insurance
  • Enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity pay
  • Long service awards and additional annual leave

If you’re excited by the opportunity to help shape and support an evolving international workforce while partnering with passionate, purpose‑driven teams, we’d love to hear from you.
