Are you passionate about the intersection of SEO, AI, and education? We’re looking for a Content Automation Executive to help us push the boundaries of how we create helpful, high-quality content at scale. In this role, you won't just be managing processes, you'll be at the heart of our mission to support teachers and parents with solutions that are as smart as they are human‑centric. You’ll take the lead on optimizing our AI‑assisted workflows, turning complex challenges into streamlined, effective operations. If you love solving problems, staying ahead of search trends, and building systems that make a real‑world impact, we’d love to have you on board.

Operational Execution & SEO Integrity

  • Maintain AI‑assisted processes from initial input to usable output, stepping in to troubleshoot technical hitches and ensure a steady stream of production.
  • Perform regular audits of content produced by AI‑assisted processes to assess quality, accuracy, and helpfulness according to 2026 standards.
  • Work towards a "best‑in‑class" standard for generated on‑page elements, including (but not limited to): commercial product descriptions, H1s, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal linking structures.
  • Utilise data from internal subject‑matter experts and external keyword research tools to fuel our "insight engine" that justifies automated content decisions.
  • Build AI‑assisted processes with the help of no‑code platforms which integrate curriculum knowledge, product information, and digital marketing expertise to drive growth.

Proactive Growth & Process Innovation

  • Identify areas for improvement in existing workflows to increase efficiency, quality, or user‑friendliness.
  • Proactively raise new automation opportunities for content types, adapting current automated processes or developing new ones to suit.
  • Pilot new workstreams to adapt to evolving search behaviours, specifically focusing on how automated content enables discoverability in AI‑driven search environments (GEO).
  • Break down complex content problems into actions, identifying exactly where automation can "grease the wheels" without sacrificing SEO integrity or accuracy.

Stakeholder Collaboration & ROI

  • Partner with various stakeholders and internal subject‑matter experts to gather the necessary data and context for automated inputs.
  • Collaborate on risk mitigation for automated content, performing manual quality and accuracy checks where necessary on affected content.
  • Assist in the synthesis of project‑level impact reports (1, 3, and 6‑month) to demonstrate the function’s ROI to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • Strong understanding of on‑page SEO best practices as of 2026 and a keen interest in keeping up with changing industry trends.
  • Experience of keyword research using industry‑standard tools (e.g. SEMRush, Ahrefs, Keyword Planner).
  • Sharp grasp of what makes content "good” for real people versus what is necessary for algorithms, and the ability to marry these two standards.
  • Proactive ability to adapt to a range of external AI tools to create and refine automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models in the context of content generation, possessing knowledge of where they excel as tools and an awareness of potential pitfalls like hallucinations, common cliches, etc.
  • Ability to translate editorial needs into logical, automated processes using flowcharts and basic automation logic, using various no‑code or low‑code platforms (AirOps, etc.).

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you an exciting role in a fast‑growing and dynamic business, with plenty of career opportunities. Here’s a couple of the things that make Twinkl a great place to be:

  • A friendly, welcoming and supportive culture. We believe work should be fun and always put people before the process.
  • Diversity, inclusion and belonging - our Employee Network Program includes working groups for LGBTQ+, People of Colour, Disabilities (visible and invisible), Women in Tech and Working Parents.

  • Company sick pay after 3 months of service.
  • After probation - cycle‑to‑work scheme.
  • Long‑term service reward - Life insurance, enhanced pension contribution, enhanced maternity pay, enhanced adoption pay and enhanced paternity pay, long service award, long service annual leave.
