Annual Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 DOE

The Role
The digital product team is dedicated to creating innovative and engaging digital experiences for children and educators. We are committed to enriching the lives of users through interactive and educational applications that inspire creativity, learning and fun.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to evolve our learning apps across iOS, Android and Web – driving growth and solving real customer problems. You’ll be responsible for designing user-centric educational products that inspire and engage learners.
What You’ll Do
- Customer-centric UX/UI design: Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications. Design intuitive, accessible and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the learning experience. Ensure a seamless user experience through clear navigation, interaction flows and information architecture.
- Leverage customer insights: Collaborate with UXR and customer insights teams to conduct user research. Understand the needs, pain points and behaviours of educators and students, and translate findings into actionable design insights and product requirements.
- Design exploration: Lead and coordinate design ideation sessions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, using your toolkit of methodologies.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, UXR, data and education teams to ensure successful product development and launches.
- Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships, clearly communicate your designs, and effectively manage and incorporate feedback from stakeholders at various levels.
- Build design systems and standards: Drive the development and implementation of design systems, ensuring consistency and improved usability across all digital products.
- Support the end-to-end product development process: Be engaged from ideation through implementation, testing, launch and iteration based on customer feedback.
- Mentoring: Use your experience to mentor junior designers and advocate for design best practices and ways of working across the organisation.

We’re Interested In People Who Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in customer-facing products across web and mobile apps, education technology or related industries.
- Experience working specifically with mobile apps (must have).
- Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, user research and final designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Bonus: Experience working with mobile games or gamified apps, or familiarity with EdTech, gamification and emerging technologies like AI.
