We are looking for a highly proactive and resourceful Regional Manager to spearhead Twinkl’s growth and presence across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This role is ideal for a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader with a strong educational background, who is passionate about supporting educators and adept at designing and executing comprehensive regional strategies.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee Twinkl’s operations across multiple MENA markets, ensuring the business achieves its growth objectives while building a trusted reputation with schools, ministries, and educational organisations. You will drive regional strategy, lead marketing and partnership initiatives, and ultimately manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) across the region. You will raise Twinkl’s profile, credibility, and impact across Arabic-speaking countries, with a particular focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia as priority markets. You will act as a visible and influential voice in the education community – representing Twinkl at events, building partnerships with schools and ministries, leading CPD sessions, and developing a strong personal and brand presence.

This role is perfect for you if…

  • You are a recognised and respected voice in education across the Arabic-speaking world.
  • You thrive on building relationships with school leaders, ministries, and teacher networks.
  • You enjoy public speaking, presenting at events, and creating engaging professional learning experiences.
  • You want to influence educational conversations and be at the forefront of driving innovation in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Strategy & Market Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the overall MENA regional strategy, adapting plans to the unique needs of individual markets. Position Twinkl as a thought leader and trusted partner for educators across Gulf, Levant, and North Africa. Provide strategic insights on regional education policies, curriculum adoption, and market trends. Act as the senior representative for Twinkl in the region, building visibility and credibility.
  • Business Growth & Performance: Manage the P&L for the MENA region, delivering against revenue, customer acquisition, and engagement targets. Monitor performance data to make informed, data-driven decisions. Identify and act on new opportunities in both mature and emerging markets. Provide clear reporting to senior leadership on regional performance and progress.
  • Hands-On Marketing Execution: Collaborate with the MENA Marketing team to develop comprehensive regional marketing strategies and campaigns. Adapt campaigns for local markets, ensuring they resonate with educators and decision-makers. Grow Twinkl’s brand awareness through digital marketing, events, and direct engagement. Analyse marketing performance to optimise efforts and maximise ROI.
  • Partnerships & Outreach: Build and manage strategic partnerships with ministries, IB associations, schools, and educational organisations across MENA. Work with Twinkl’s central Strategic Partnerships team to leverage global opportunities while building local micro-partnerships. Represent Twinkl at conferences and events to expand visibility and influence.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with global production, product, B2B, and marketing teams to ensure strategies align with regional needs. Share market insights with internal teams to inform product positioning and global priorities. Support B2B growth by providing intelligence and campaign support to drive school-level adoption.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Thorough and nuanced knowledge of the MENA education market and customer needs.
  • Experience in teaching or education leadership, ideally at SLT level.
  • Demonstrated success in regional business growth, partnerships, or strategy execution.
  • Proven ability to deliver hands-on marketing initiatives across multiple markets.
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across cultures and contexts.
  • A deep passion for education and a commitment to Twinkl’s mission of supporting those who teach.

In return for everything you can bring, we can offer you:

  • A high-impact leadership role shaping Twinkl’s presence in one of the fastest-growing education regions in the world.
  • Direct influence on Twinkl’s global growth strategy through regional leadership.
  • Career opportunities for progression in a fast-paced international business.
  • The chance to directly impact the future of teaching and learning across MENA.
