The digital product team is dedicated to creating innovative and engaging digital experiences for children and educators.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to evolve our search experience as a whole, helping us pave the way to leverage AI in our browsing experience and exploring AI as a driving agent of personalisation. You will be responsible for designing user-centric interfaces that make life easier for educators.
Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:
- Customer-centric UX/UI design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications. Design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the learning experience.
- Leverage customer insights: Collaborate with the UXR and customer insights teams to conduct user research to understand the needs, pain points, and behaviours of educators and students.
- Design exploration: Coordinate and lead appropriate forums for the purpose of ideation and exploring design solutions with a cross-functional team.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborating with engineering, product, UXR, data and education teams to ensure the successful development and launch of products.
- Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating your designs and managing and incorporating their feedback.
- Building a design system and standards: You will be at the forefront of the development and implementation of design systems, bringing consistency and improved usability across all digital products.
- Support the end-to-end product development process: From product conception and ideation through to implementation, pre-launch testing and final customer feedback.
- Mentoring: Using your extensive experience you will mentor more junior team members and advocate for design across the organisation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in customer-facing products across web and mobile apps.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, user research, and final designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience in building AI-oriented interfaces is highly desirable.
- An understanding of the EdTech landscape is a plus.
