History Teacher KS3/4

Elevate Supply is working with a secondary school in Birmingham to appoint a knowledgeable and engaging History Teacher. This supply position involves teaching History across KS3 to KS5 and is ideal for someone who can deliver consistently high standards in the classroom.

Role Responsibilities:

Teach History across KS3, KS4 and KS5

Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that support academic progress

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Promote a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed

Contribute to departmental planning and support wider school initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching History in UK secondary schools

Confident delivering lessons up to A-level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
