Base pay range
$7.00/hr – $7.00/hr
Educational Content Writer/Editor – Brazil (Fully Qualified Teachers)
Location: Brazil, 100% remote work-from-home position (You must permanently live & have the right to work in Brazil to apply for this position)
Pay Rate: $7 USD per hour
Contract: 6 month contract – Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes. No benefits.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

The Role
As a Content Writer here at Twinkl, you’ll be helping to build a new team of passionate professionals working flexibly to write and edit content for Twinkl’s emerging Brazil market. This team will create a wide range of resources for use in Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental – Anos Iniciais. This will include PowerPoints, display materials, activity sheets, assessments and planning. For this role, the majority of your time will be spent predominantly creating content in Brazilian Portuguese for all ages in the above categories.
Brazil is a rapidly growing market for Twinkl. You will have the creative freedom to shape the content we offer to our customers. Our ideal candidate will be going further than writing content by suggesting new product ideas, identifying needs in the Brazilian teaching community, sharing their experiences and expertise with others. It is an exciting time for this market. The successful candidate will be vital in ensuring that these ambitious plans for Brazil become a reality. This is a work-from-home, flexible position, and hours can be agreed upon between you and your line manager to fit around your current part time commitments.
How You Will Spend Your Week
- Meeting with other Twinkl writers or the Brazil Country Manager to discuss new ideas;
- Writing content for the Brazilian market;
- Developing new product ideas with the Brazil Country Manager.
In This Role, You Will Learn
- How to create new teacher content for our Brazilian team, from ideation stage to publication on the site;
- Remote collaboration, working closely with team members across this market;
- How to develop greater commercial awareness so we can understand the needs of those we want to help.
To Succeed In The Role, You Will
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the subject currently being taught with teaching qualifications approved by the Brazil Ministry of Education.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ classroom teaching experience with the Brazilian local curriculum, currently teaching or classroom teaching within the last 24 months.
- Be focused on collaboration, using feedback to make our resources the best they can be;
- Have detailed knowledge of the local Brazilian curriculum (BNCC);
- Be able to communicate in English to a C1/C2 level (Both written & spoken)
- Native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese. (Both written and spoken)
- Have excellent spelling, punctuation & grammar in both English & Brazilian Portuguese.
We’re are especially interested in anyone who also meets one, or a combination of the following:
- Be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team;
- Have an excellent understanding of the needs of teachers in the primary section (Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental – Anos Iniciais) and support staff delivering learning within the classroom or at home;
- Experience developing educational resources in Brazilian Portuguese.
