Join the Twink team as an Educational Content Lead (ECL), a remote, UK-based position on a 12-month fixed-term contract for 20 hours per week. This critical role leads the development of global curriculum content, particularly focused on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. We are seeking a passionate and strategic individual with a minimum of 5 years of IB PYP teaching or leadership experience to drive innovation and ensure our resources meet the highest standards of inquiry-based learning and international-mindedness for primary schools worldwide.
Ongoing projects / how you’ll spend your day
- Competitor and Market Monitoring: Track International School resource providers globally and monitor shifts in curriculum adoption. Stay updated with International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) guidance and any other International School updates to ensure compliance and relevance. Spot opportunities to meet the needs of bilingual and international schools globally.
- Innovation and Idea Generation: Identify and develop “brickwall” opportunities that International Primary schools cannot do without. Create engaging, inquiry-based content that addresses key PYP transdisciplinary themes and learner profile attributes. Innovate to support multilingual contexts and cultural diversity globally.
- Research and Guidance: Stay informed on current IB pedagogy and research in inquiry-based learning, concept-based curriculum, and formative assessment. Filter and share key findings with writers and editors to ensure resources reflect IB standards. Provide guidance on localisation for International schools globally.
- Strategy and Prioritisation: Develop and execute an annual business strategy for IPS content, aligned with overall company goals. Prioritise key subject areas, year levels, and language variations (e.g., English/bilingual resources). Clearly communicate content priorities to production teams for maximum impact.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with ECLs in other curriculum areas to ensure cohesion with global content collections. Partner with Country and Regional Managers to align content strategy with market needs. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective promotion and customer engagement.
- Performance and Insights: Monitor the success of IPS content lines using data (Tableau, marketing engagement, customer feedback). Share learnings and propose adjustments for continuous improvement. Identify unmet needs of International Primary schools and develop solutions.
To succeed in the role, you will:
- Be deeply passionate about IB PYP and International School Curriculum and its mission to foster inquiry, international-mindedness, and lifelong learning.
- Have strong strategic planning skills to prioritise and execute regional content strategies.
- Bring creativity to generate innovative, inquiry-driven content ideas for teachers and learners.
- Be proficient in analysing user insights to guide decision‑making.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures.
In this role, you will learn:
- Customer engagement strategies for International Primary Schools.
You’ll work with:
- Other ECLs, customer‑facing teams, and key business areas.
- The Senior Manager for Exploratory Markets, Regional and Country Managers, and Marketing teams.
- A production team of content writers, editors, designers, and illustrators.
- Production managers and education content managers.
KPIs:
- Generate one new International School content line or resource level per month tailored to International Schools.
- Achieve 100% of approved roadmap SMART goals per month.
- Ensure all Global Curriculum content lines achieve their conversion, upgrade, returning user, download, ratings, and ROI metric targets.
- Maintain an NPS of +80 monthly for all Global Curriculum content lines.
We’re interested in anyone who meets a combination of the following:
- Minimum 5 years of IB PYP teaching or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of IB philosophy, frameworks, and assessment approaches.
- Experience delivering projects from ideation through to completion.
- Ability to identify educational trends and adapt strategy quickly.
- Organised, deadline‑driven, and skilled in managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cultures.
- Access to a reliable internet connection (at least 6mb download, 1mb upload).
