The HR Manager is a pivotal role in enabling both our business and our people to achieve our exciting vision and plans, and their own career possibilities. You will make a tangible impact on our business through partnering key business areas and populations across all key areas of HR, whilst also leading on impactful projects that drive an elevated employee experience.
You’ll win in this role by bringing a blend of commercial acumen, HR capability, creativity and curiosity – to deliver people and organizational plans that make a difference to our business and our people.
Key Responsibilities
- You will have Partnering responsibility across key business areas and populations through all aspects of the employee lifecycle – from organisational design, recruitment, onboarding, Thrive and learning plans, performance management coaching and challenging our people managers to aim high performance that gets the best out of our people and organisation (50% of time)
- Design and delivery of the plans and activities that will enable our Inclusive and High Performance Culture – including, Engagement plans, our High Performance Mindset behaviours, and our Diversity and Inclusion agenda. (25% of time)
- Design and delivery of our Learning and Career Development strategic pillar, that enables our organization and people to build the capabilities to achieve our strategic vision, and unlock their potential and career possibilities, whilst building the capability of our managers (25% of time).
- Design and Deliver a robust Reward and Employee Data workstream, managing in year approach to Reward including a fair and objective salary review and bonus process, outstanding Reward communication, and maintain the health of our employee data to drive decision making.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Demonstrable HR expertise and experience within a transformation-focused FMCG organisations – including both partnering and project delivery.
- Stays connected to the latest thinking in work and culture, whether that be podcasts, reading, networking groups.
- L+D experience is desirable, but design and facilitation experience is essential, combined with a passion for enabling people and businesses to succeed and achieve their full potential.
- A champion for diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, passionate about broadening the allyship within the workplace.
- Curiosity when it comes to connecting with teams and stakeholders, enabling you to understand strategy, plans and tensions – to clearly see the opportunities and needs for people and the organisation within and across our business.

- You are self-organised, skilful when it comes to prioritisation, using people strategy and plans to focus your time on where it matters most.

- Lean in and gets hands dirty and contributes to team culture as part of the high performing UK&I People team and SIP hub
