The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the Quality Management System (QMS) is in place and it is embedded in the business processes, focusing on consistently meeting consumer/customer requirements and enhancing their satisfaction. The role has responsibility for the management and ensuring the performance of a team comprised of three (3) Quality Assurance team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Support of the Packaging and Manufacturing Quality Manager with the Strategic Quality Planning whilst contributing to improve and maintain a high quality and food safety maturity level within the Andover Site.
- Monitoring of the FSMS and QMS Objectives, KPIs and continuous improvements.
- Overseeing and effective management of FSMS/QMS: Non-conformance system – RCA, CAPAs, Concessions, Q&FS Risk Assessments Document Management System Internal Audit Management System Supplier Management – SAQ, audits, supplier quality notifications.
- Deputy Team Leader for ASC Food Safety Plan (HACCP).
- Change Management.
- Consumer and Customer Complaints.
- Implementation and maintenance of standards (Organic/ ISO9001/ FSSC/ KOSHER) and management of the processes.
- Interaction and collaboration with other Departments (e.g. Manufacturing, Procurement, Facilities, Regulatory etc.) to ensure implementation for FSMS/QMS activities.
- Support the implementation of new product and continuous improvement projects.
- 5+ years of experience in FMCG industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Food safety qualification (or other recognised by past employer).
- University Degree (i.e. Sciences, Math) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience with Quality Management System.
- Demonstrable proficiency in audits against internal standard / by third party.
- Have experience of designing and delivering training packages and working as a supplier of training solutions.
- Leadership capabilities, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication with the ability to present detailed information.
