This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the mechanical and electrical systems in our production and warehousing facilities, as well as supporting and implementing continuous improvement projects. You will underpin manufacturing operations at the Andover site by conducting plant maintenance activities to achieve targeted levels of productivity, whilst championing safety and quality behaviours.
Full job specification available upon request during the process. We’re also open to considering single skilled engineer candidates. Please note this is a 12m FTC role.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
- Overhauling and refurbishing of parts and equipment.
- Work cross functionally with teams in the organization to identify and systematically solve problems.
- Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
- Develop documented training material and support in upskilling the operations team.
- Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques.
- Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI’s.
