This is a full end‑to‑end generalist role, with high support from the HR Shared Services function to deliver HR activities. Key to the success of this role will be building effective relationships with key stakeholders including across the International HR community and within ABF to collaborate on joint people‑related activities.
Scope
Working alongside the People & Performance Business Partner, East, with a population of circa 170 employees across multiple teams based globally across the UK, India, Poland, Switzerland, North America, Thailand, China and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the People & Performance Business Partner (East) to provide comprehensive People & Performance coverage across BizTX.
- Own the operational People agenda for BizTX, ensuring seamless delivery with the support of HR Shared Services of day‑to‑day HR priorities for the BizTX functions responsible for.
- Build strong relationships with People Managers through regular 1:1s, providing guidance and coaching in driving team effectiveness and keeping them informed on key People & Performance initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to shape and execute the resourcing strategy, actively contributing to interviews with a focus on cultural alignment.
- Lead the implementation of a competitive reward strategy, continuously reviewing remuneration against best practice, and manage the annual pay review in partnership with the Director of People & Performance.
- Drive the Engage strategy for BizTX, progressing initiatives under the 25/26 Engagement pillars: Workload, DE&I, and Impactful Conversations.
- Design and deliver people improvement projects, including Women in Leadership, Women in Tech, wellbeing, DE&I, employee engagement, talent development and HR transformation.
- Support organisational design and change projects, providing HR interventions that enable delivery of business and functional strategies.
- Champion BizTX’s Thrive and Be Awesome culture, promoting adoption and engagement with the app.
- Act as Employment Law lead, ensuring effective employee relations and advising the wider UK HR community on ER matters. Work in partnership with HR in‑country for jurisdictional advice where required, and with an approach to continually expand employment law knowledge beyond the UK.
- Own the talent agenda for BizTX, driving development, succession planning (MFOP), and stakeholder engagement under the guidance of the Director of People & Performance.
- Serve as a catalyst for positive change, identifying risks, recommending improvements, and implementing solutions.
- Provide proactive HR advice that enables the business to achieve its objectives.
- Coach, support, and challenge managers and key individuals to accelerate their development and growth.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a professional CIPD qualification.
- Qualification in psychometrics.
- Track record of balancing the operational and strategic HR agendas in an evolving, fast‑paced global business unit.
- Comprehensive all‑round HR generalist knowledge across recruitment, reward, change, development and employee engagement/relations agendas.
- Strong evidence of delivering results, working with senior leadership and senior stakeholders across a matrixed international structure.
- Strong evidence of driving a capability within teams.
- Supporting strategic HR interventions designed to enable business strategy.
- Organisation design and development.
- Experience of working in an international organisation and business unit.
- Skilled user of psychometric tools for assessment & development.
- A natural Coach, skilled at developing and coaching individuals and teams.
- A track record of dealing with complex ER issues.
- Driving successful engagement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to simplify the complex.
