Join a dynamic grassroots music venue as a Sound Engineer, supporting live events in a vibrant nightclub setting. This part‑time, on‑site role is ideal for someone passionate about music and live sound, with a focus on delivering high‑quality audio experiences for diverse genres including house, techno, reggae, drum & bass, and funk n soul. You will work primarily on Friday and Saturday nights, collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional sound quality for performers and audiences alike.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage live sound mixing for a variety of music events
- Set up, test, and maintain audio equipment before and during events
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions
- Collaborate with performers and event staff to meet specific audio requirements
- Monitor sound levels and adjust as needed for optimal audience experience
- Assist with basic visual mapping tasks if required
- Ensure all equipment is safely stored and maintained after events
Skills And Requirements
- Experience in live sound engineering, preferably in nightclub or music venue environments
- Proficiency with audio mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, and related equipment
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest or experience in visual mapping is a plus
- Availability to work on‑site in Tottenham Hale, London, primarily on Friday and Saturday nights (20–25 hours per week)
