As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing content strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, including hotels, nonprofits, real estate, interior design, and wellness brands. You will be responsible for producing and editing engaging short-form video content, designing branded graphics, and managing content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. This remote, part-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, Gen Z–led creative agency and contribute to the growth of innovative brands. A two-week paid training period is included as part of the onboarding process, with potential for growth as the agency expands.
Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and publish short-form video content tailored to each platform’s best practices
- Design branded graphics and visual assets that align with client identities
- Manage content scheduling and maintain consistent posting calendars
- Engage with online communities, responding to comments and fostering audience growth
- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with client goals and brand voice
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes
- Implement ad strategies on Meta, TikTok, or LinkedIn as needed
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience managing professional social media pages, with a strong portfolio of work
- Advanced video editing and graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools)
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, content scheduling tools, and analytics
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to match diverse brand voices
- Experience with ad strategy and campaign management on Meta, TikTok, or LinkedIn is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
