Full Stack Engineer – Healthtech, Remote
Join a mission-driven project focused on transforming healthcare staffing through technology and data. You will play a key role in delivering the MVP for a dynamic healthcare staffing platform, including a Swift iOS app for end users and a React-based admin portal, all supported by a Node or Django backend and PostgreSQL database. The platform aims to connect healthcare professionals with institutions in real time, addressing critical staffing gaps and driving long-term policy innovation. This is a part-time, fully remote contract opportunity, ideal for those passionate about social impact and scalable tech solutions in the health sector.
Deliverables
- Develop and launch a Swift iOS application for end users, ensuring seamless user experience and App Store readiness
- Build a React-based admin portal for platform management and analytics
- Implement backend services using Node or Django, integrating with a PostgreSQL database
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, push notifications, and real-time features such as messaging and shift management
- Complete milestone-driven tasks, including authentication, check-in flows, and acceptance tests
- Participate in a short test task, assign IP, and provide a 30-day bug-fixing window post-launch
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full stack engineer, with a strong portfolio of iOS apps launched to the App Store
- Proficiency in Swift, React, Node.js or Django, and PostgreSQL
- Expertise in building and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs
