A leading hospitality client is seeking a freelance motion graphics designer to create a sophisticated GIF or animation for a digital invitation, unveiling a newly built conservatory space. The animation should elegantly reveal the space—such as with curtains opening or a similar effect—and ideally showcase the rendering at night. The final deliverable will be used to invite guests to an exclusive event and must capture the ambiance and luxury of the venue.

The designer will collaborate remotely with the client’s PR agency to ensure the animation aligns with the event’s vision and branding. The project requires a quick turnaround, with the final asset due by October 7, 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce a high-quality GIF or animation for a digital invitation
  • Develop a visual concept that elegantly reveals the conservatory space (e.g., curtain opening or comparable effect)
  • Incorporate provided renderings, emphasizing a nighttime setting
  • Ensure the animation is optimized for digital distribution and compatible with standard invitation platforms
  • Collaborate with the PR agency to refine creative direction and incorporate feedback
  • Deliver the final animation by the specified deadline

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in motion graphics design, particularly for digital invitations or event promotions
  • Advanced proficiency with After Effects, Photoshop, or similar animation and design tools
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative storytelling and elegant visual effects
  • Ability to interpret architectural renderings and translate them into engaging animations
  • Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
  • Availability to meet a tight deadline and deliver high-quality work under time constraints
  • Experience working with PR or event agencies is a plus
