Freelance Digital Marketing Expert

This role focuses on elevating the digital presence and sales performance of a handmade ceramics business through strategic Instagram advertising. The successful candidate will analyze current ad campaigns, refine targeting, and enhance content to drive increased website traffic and sales. Working with a limited budget, you will be responsible for maximizing ROI and ensuring that marketing efforts align with the brand’s artisanal identity and e-commerce objectives.

Deliverables

• Audit and optimize existing Instagram ad campaigns for improved performance and ROI
• Develop and implement targeted ad strategies to reach relevant audiences interested in handmade ceramics
• Create compelling ad content and visuals that reflect the brand’s unique style and offerings
• Monitor campaign analytics, report on key metrics, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights
• Advise on best practices for integrating Instagram marketing with Shopify and other sales channels

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and optimizing Instagram ad campaigns, ideally for e-commerce or artisanal brands
• Strong understanding of audience targeting, ad creative development, and budget management on Instagram
• Proficiency with Shopify and social media analytics tools
• Ability to create engaging visual and written content tailored to the handmade ceramics market
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and make actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Availability for a short-term, project-based engagement
• Familiarity with the European market is a plus
