We are seeking a Student Services Officer at our Twin English Centre in Dublin! Are you dynamic, creative, and caring? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working with students from diverse backgrounds? If so, we want you to join our team as a Student Services Officer!

What You’ll Do:

  • Organise and implement activities and excursions for individuals and groups: Plan, promote, and run our exciting social programme.
  • Ensure student welfare: Supervise and provide pastoral care to our students.
  • Support the Academic Teams: Offer welfare and child protection training and advice.
  • Deliver excellent customer service: Follow company policies and values to ensure top-notch service.
  • Act as an intermediary: Facilitate smooth communication between different departments.
  • Prepare for student arrivals: Complete pre-arrival tasks and conduct first-day inductions.
  • Monitor student absences: Record and act on absences promptly.
  • Manage records: Keep accurate attendance records for all activities and excursions.
  • Conduct risk assessments: Ensure safety during excursions and activities.
  • Take on key roles: Serve as First Aider, Fire Warden, and Designated Safeguarding Staff member.
  • Be on call: Handle emergency phone calls on a rotational basis.

Additional Information

  • Salary: €30,000.00 - €32,000.00 per annum depending upon experience
  • Location: Dublin Office
  • Contract: Permanent - Full Time
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
  • Benefits: up to 20 days annual leave + bank holidays + Birthday Day off, per year; Long service award, an extra day’s annual leave per year completed, up to 5 additional days; 5 days paid sick leave per year; Employee referral scheme, up to €500 per successful referral; Sabbatical Leave the right to request up to 1 month’s unpaid sabbatical leave; Career development opportunities.

Please Note: The successful candidate must be able to work in Ireland. Twin is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Garda Vetting check, depending on the role itself. All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily. Proof of identity and qualifications will be required. Successful candidates will be required to complete a one-hour online safeguarding training prior to commencing employment.
