This is an opportunity to take ownership of marketing across a growing education and training organisation, shaping how we attract, engage and convert students and partners across the world — driving stronger lead generation, enhancing brand consistency, and improving digital performance across multiple channels.
This role offers significant scope to influence how marketing operates, from refining strategy through to improving processes, reporting and overall campaign effectiveness. You’ll be trusted to own your area, lead initiatives end-to-end, and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
You’ll also manage a small internal marketing team and external design agency, setting direction, prioritising activity and ensuring a consistently high standard of output across all marketing channels. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, multi-programme environment where priorities can shift, so the ability to stay organised, proactive and commercially focused is key. This role is ideal for a hands-on, commercially minded Marketer — someone who enjoys balancing strategy and execution and wants real visibility, ownership and impact across the business.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Strategy & planning: Develop and deliver integrated marketing plans aligned to business growth goals; Own campaign planning across digital and offline channels; Manage marketing budget and performance reporting.
- Execution & performance: Lead delivery of campaigns across email, PPC, SEO, website and content; Optimise conversion, engagement and ROI across channels; Oversee website updates and user experience improvements.
- Stakeholder & brand management: Act as a key marketing partner to internal teams; Ensure brand consistency across all channels and communications; Manage external agencies and suppliers where required.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous marketing experience in Education sector and/or specifically English Language Schools (essential), Apprenticeship (desirable) and/or Government contracts (desirable).
- 5 years minimum demonstratable experience in a similar marketing role.
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels and branding.
- Expertise in digital strategy, SEO, paid media and website optimisation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing, digital media communications or related field.
- Master's degree or professional qualification (CIM) in a relevant field will be advantageous.
Contract information: This will be a fixed-term contract for maternity cover ideally starting in July and interviews taking place in June. Hours will be Monday to Friday (3 days in Greenwich and 2 days working from home) with some UK travel as required.
