Contract - Fixed Term between 21/09/2026 – 11/06/2027 (with training week commencing 23/8/26)
Salary - £40 per hour (Contact teaching hours 4 + 1 Tutorial + 1 Staff meeting. Exam correction - £10 per script and £5 for double marking if needed.)

The purpose of these roles is to deliver highly effective modules on our International Foundation Year - Media Pathway Stream. The programme comprises three core modules:
- Film Production
- Media Analysis
- Print Digital New with Project skills
The post holder(s) will ensure students are fully supported in subject knowledge, academic skills, and progression to Higher Education in the UK. The role requires high academic standards, strong student support, and the ability to teach using Western conventions and methodologies. Please note that all classes will be delivered on site and face-to-face.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject, Media Studies, Film Studies, Multimedia Production or Digital Media.
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience in subject matter at Sixth Form College/School, FE & HE, using Western-style syllabi and methodologies.
- A recognised teaching qualification in the relevant subject, such as a PGCE (highly desirable).
- Experience teaching Media Studies/Film Production/Multimedia at A-Level (highly desirable).
- Experience in international education or UK foundation programmes.
- Understanding of UK educational systems and quality assurance.
- Experience teaching English as a second language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring course module is delivered to a high standard.
- Planning learning materials and delivering face-to-face course in line with syllabi and quality standards.
- Setting homework tasks and marking students’ work.
- Assessing students’ work and recording progress throughout the programme.
- Setting and marking course assignments in line with exam standards and protocol.
- Completing all feedback documentation and uploading to the eLearning platform within deadlines.
- Providing students with timely feedback on assessments.
- Uploading all assessment and exam documentation, results, and reports to the eLearning platform within deadlines.
- Keeping accurate and up to date record of students’ attendance.
- Keeping accurate and up to date scheme of work.
- Carrying out administrative tasks, such as attending weekly meetings and reporting on student progress.
- Participating in staff training activities.
- Actively promoting a positive inclusive learning environment for all participants.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
