As an Activity Leader, you will guide Activities as directed by the Operations Manager/Senior Activity Leader, planning and delivering a high-quality activity and excursion programme; ensuring integration of language learning with the social programme; and maintaining correct levels of student safety, discipline, and welfare.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and participating actively in all activities
- Preparing activity venues prior to each activity
- Ensure all registers are up to date, including risk assessments prior to each activity
- Implement client feedback in line with company-approved policies and procedures
- Managing and promoting positive student behaviour
- Meeting students on arrival and departure
- Supervising mealtimes, breaks and free time
- Safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students, including Health & Safety
- Residential stays overnight when required
Qualifications, Skills and Core Competencies
- Educated to GCSE / Leaving Cert level or similar.
- First Aid certificate (such as St John's First Aid at Work or HSE-recognised) desirable.
- Sports coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Experience in supervising and coaching minors
- Aware of safeguarding and prevent responsibilities
- Ability to speak a second language is desirable
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Flexible, creative, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to assume responsibility for a group of juniors
- Self-motivated and proactive
