Kitchen Assistant
Fixed Term contract to the end of October 2025

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the catering proposition at the Twin English Centre, Eastbourne.
Reporting to the catering manager, you will support in the preparation, delivery and clean down of each service, maintaining a clean environment, continually working within the safety guidelines required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping a clean station during and after each service
  • Clearing down the dining hall and crockery, and cutlery
  • Using chemicals safely during the cleaning process
  • Working together with the team to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensuring guests have a great experience

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a kitchen environment (essential)
  • COSHH and Food Safety awareness (essential)
  • Cooking experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work within the hours of 12:00 – 20:30, as required, including weekends (essential)
