You will work primarily on a wide variety of projects in the fields of laser-based joining, laser cutting, and laser surfacing. Previous experience in laser materials processing is therefore desirable, and you should have a proven track record in performing industrially relevant research and development.
You will have good project management and self-organisation abilities together with sound written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of delivering projects for UK and/or European funding bodies would be advantageous.
