TWI is looking for an enthusiastic ICT Support Apprentice to join our ICT Group at our Head Office in Abington, Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in IT and looking to build a long-term career through hands-on experience, structured learning and support from experienced professionals. Our ICT team plays a key role in supporting the systems, services and communications that keep the organisation running, giving you exposure to a wide range of technologies and real business challenges from day one.
You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by experienced colleagues who will mentor you as you grow your technical knowledge, confidence and professional skills. This is a varied, practical role that will give you the perfect platform to begin your career in IT, including opportunities to:
- Build strong first-line support and troubleshooting skills in a real working environment.
- Develop confidence in supporting colleagues and communicating with people across the organisation.
- Learn how to prioritise tasks, manage your time and work effectively as part of a busy IT team.
- Gain hands-on experience of day-to-day IT operations, including user support and system administration.
- Work with a wide range of technologies including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile device management tools, service desk platforms and Apple devices and the ever-emerging AI environment.
- Become a valued member of a friendly and knowledgeable team that wants to help you succeed.
