Join TWI as a senior engineer / team leader—supporting a small, focused team in delivering ambitious software solutions for the web and our existing desktop products.
We are looking for an experienced full‑stack developer with C#, .NET, React and a passion for product delivery. You will design, build and maintain web and desktop software, work closely with the product owner, and help shape the future direction of our products. The role may evolve into a team‑leader/manager position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software solutions for the web and our desktop products.
- Translate user requirements into new and bespoke features using agile development.
- Collaborate with the product owner and the team to deliver commercial projects.
- Advocate process improvement and the adoption of new technologies.
- Contribute to the professional development of the team and consider future leadership path.
Essential skills
- Strong knowledge of React, Typescript, CSS, front‑end web development.
- Strong knowledge of C#, SQL, database design, .NET Core REST API.
- Proficiency in Git version control.
- Experience designing scalable software using recognised patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive process improvement mindset.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure.
Highly desirable
- Experience developing Windows desktop applications (WPF, WinForms).
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of issue tracking systems (JIRA) and agile methodologies.
- TickIT+ experience.
- Experience documenting and formalising requirements (user stories, use cases, wireframes).
- Proven success in a client‑facing role, managing stakeholders and steering requirements.
