Description of role: We have one position in Kakinada, one in New Delhi & one in Pune. In your application please state the location you wish to be based from. We are seeking three knowledgeable technical training Sales Professionals to lead the promotion and sales of our specialised technical training programmes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong sales and business development skills with a solid understanding of any of the core engineering disciplines such as Welding, Corrosion, Coating and Painting, Mechanical/Design engineering, Manufacturing, Coded construction.
Your work will draw on strategic sales and marketing fundamentals such as analysing buyers’ behaviour, understanding market environment dynamics and articulating value propositions accordingly.
The role requires the ability to:
- Engage with industrial clients, training managers, technical leads to understand skill gaps and propose a customised solution.
- Analyse, understand and meaningfully present market trends and competitor insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Good technical understanding in at least one of these areas:
- Welding technologies and processes
- Mechanical engineering (Familiarity with manufacturing processes, coded construction, maintenance practices or plant operations)
- Chemical technology (corrosion focus)
- Painting and Coating
- Exposure to marketing and sales fundamentals with good knowledge of digital tools.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align customer needs with training solutions that demonstrate measurable impact
- Confidence in engaging with technical decision makers and presenting complex value propositions clearly
- Engineering graduate in Welding, Chemical Technology, Corrosion, Civil engineering, Aerospace engineering, Metallurgical and Materials engineering, Ocean engineering and Naval architecture, Manufacturing, Quality engineering
- Willingness to travel within the regions as required
Desirable:
- Prior experience in B2B sales, corporate training or technical solution/services sales
- Marketing management degree or diploma
