About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing construction recruitment team in Gerrards Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in recruitment, with full training provided and clear progression to Consultant and Senior Consultant level. You will learn how to source, attract, and place skilled construction professionals across a range of trades and professional roles, while building strong relationships with both candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and develop core recruitment skills through structured training and mentoring
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, and internal databases
- Screen and interview candidates to assess suitability for roles
- Write and post job adverts
- Build and maintain strong candidate relationships
- Support senior consultants with live vacancies
- Develop knowledge of the construction industry and market trends
- Contact clients to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment support
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
- Work towards individual and team targets
