We are currently supporting a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major clean water infrastructure project in South London, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging scheme involving large diameter water mains, deep excavations and complex temporary works, playing a key role in driving progress on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising day-to-day site activities on a clean water civil engineering project
- Overseeing works relating to large diameter main laying and associated infrastructure
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Coordinating with site teams, engineers and project management to maintain project progress
- Ensuring all works comply with health, safety and environmental standards
- Supporting the delivery of deep excavation and temporary works operations
About You
- Proven experience working within the water sector, ideally on clean water infrastructure projects
- Strong civil engineering background with experience supervising site operations
- Good understanding of large diameter water main installation
- Experience working around deep excavations and temporary works
- Able to drive progress on site, coordinating teams and maintaining programme delivery
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
Desirable
- Previous experience working on HS2 sites or major infrastructure projects
