Our client, a leading main contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering technically complex construction projects, is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join their growing team based in Gerrards Cross. Working across a portfolio of high-value Data Centres, Food Manufacturing Facilities, and Pharmaceutical projects, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in driving digital construction and BIM excellence on some of the UK's most prestigious developments.
The Role: As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of BIM processes across multiple projects, ensuring digital information is coordinated effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and project delivery teams, you will champion best practice in digital construction, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the BIM strategy across multiple live projects.
- Manage BIM execution plans (BEPs) and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams using BIM technologies.
- Oversee model coordination, clash detection, and digital design reviews.
- Support project teams throughout design, construction, and commissioning.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, subcontractors, and client teams to ensure accurate model delivery.
- Promote best practice in digital construction and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage Common Data Environments (CDE) and project information workflows.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to internal project teams.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager, Digital Construction Manager, or Senior BIM Coordinator within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering large-scale projects such as Data Centres, Pharmaceutical Facilities, Industrial Buildings, Manufacturing Plants, or other technically complex developments.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 processes.
- Experience using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or similar digital construction platforms.
- Excellent understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
