You will be responsible for:

  • Achieving clients’ fundraising and engagement goals;
  • Using internal tools to create and deploy engagement and fundraising email campaigns;
  • Managing communication processes and deadlines with clients and internal teams while providing top-quality customer service to clients;
  • Coding and sending mission-critical emails that raise money and promote social change;
  • Researching and developing online fundraising and communications strategies, including talking points, guidance for writers and graphic designers, and management of communications calendars;
  • Working with client teams, including technology and creative, to assist in managing resources and project timelines;
  • Building digital user journeys that raise awareness and bring about change for pressing social, environmental, and political issues;
  • Paying close attention to detail and ensuring strong quality and great user experiences for our clients’ audiences.

Must-have qualifications:

  • Passion for good causes, whether candidates or other;
  • One to three years of experience, including past internships and part-time work;
  • Excellent quantitative reasoning skills and ability to apply data to strategic decisions;
  • Strong writing and editing skills;
  • Ability to juggle and multitask on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Willingness to take initiative and learn new tools and the ability to be resourceful in resolving issues;
  • Experience working with Excel or other spreadsheet or data-processing software;
  • Ability to collaborate on a team, both internally and externally.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience setting up digital user experience tests, e.g. email A/B tests;
  • Experience building and sending emails in a mass emailing system, e.g. EveryAction/NGP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other platforms;
  • Experience coding in HTML and CSS as it pertains to either email or web;
  • Experience with a political campaign, nonprofit or interactive marketing company is particularly appreciated but not required.
