Responsibilities

  • Build the bridge between brands and consumers.
  • Champion creative solutions with clarity and a vocal, inventive approach.
  • Apply end‑to‑end customer experience strategy knowledge—including customer research, strategy, vision & design.
  • Develop strategy solutions from brand strategy down to tactical social, content and influencer strategies.
  • Use data and research to uncover consumer insights relevant to campaigns.
  • Show a deep understanding of marketing fundamentals.
  • Craft content calendars, caption banks, and trend‑jacking posts.
  • Leverage VaynerMedia tools, research and platforms for content audits and holistic success measurement frameworks.
  • Bring the consumer’s world to life for creative teams and clients through qualitative and cultural mining, plus quantitative research synthesis.
  • Create distinct audience segmentations tied to strategic decisions and creative ways‑in.
  • Articulate strategic rationale with clear, compelling storytelling.
  • Design decks that detail ideas and insights for stakeholder engagement.
  • Use your agency experience and content‑creation skills to manage digital campaigns and end‑to‑end consumer journeys.
  • Maintain curiosity and a willingness to learn and experiment.

Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a strategist in a media or creative advertising agency within the Malaysia market.
  • Ability to deliver independent work and achieve results quickly.
  • Strong participation in collaboration sessions with cross‑functional teams.
  • Prioritise tasks with urgency and manage ongoing performance of projects.
  • Own internal processes for quality assurance and identify solutions to challenges.
  • Ensure zero mistakes and remove internal process issues on deliverables.
  • Foster positive communication and collaboration with all internal groups.
  • Communicate ideas clearly and professionally to internal teams and external clients.
  • Highlight new ideas to team and stakeholders when appropriate.
