About R/GA

R/GA is a global digital innovation agency specializing in digital product development, brand transformation, media, and communications for major companies. We are on a mission to help companies grow by enabling them to change across their business, the experience they offer and the campaigns that take them to market. Our work tends to be a fusion of what we call Stories and Systems: the narrative and the design, technology and the interface working together. R/GA is a brand but it's also a collective of atypical outsiders and misfits who drive everything we do through bold creativity and bright, strategic thinking.

About the role

Our Designers are makers and storytellers that use design to bring ideas to life. They lead projects into uncharted creative territories and create new outcomes. They’re design fundamentalists, but approach projects with a systems and stories mindset. They identify user needs, interpret client challenges, create innovative concepts and define visual language. This particular opening is to join the Product & Experience discipline at R/GA, playing an integral role within our Google team as a Senior Product Designer. In this role, you’ll help our products come to life. This includes everything from wireframes, producing content narratives, creating Figma component libraries, and creating bespoke page experiences and visuals. This person will work closely with leads, helping to craft our visions, as well as mentor junior talent.

On any given day you might:

  • Execute top quality design work in line with agency standards.
  • Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project.
  • Mentor Junior Designers.
  • Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications.
  • Work with Creative Directors and leads to ensure design work exceeds client expectations.
  • Explain and articulate design decisions and rationale with confidence.
  • Take an active part in client meetings and presentations.
  • Contribute to the creation and definition of flexible design systems and visual languages.
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces and experiences for websites, landing pages, microsites, digital products, and mobile apps.
  • Collaborate across teams to build scalable, attainable solutions.
  • Prototype interactive experiences that engage users and drive conversion.

The ideal person:

  • Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients.
  • Must have experience with Figma and creating and maintaining large, usable libraries.
  • Has outstanding presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong portfolio in digital product and experience design, showcasing responsive, intuitive interfaces.
  • Has a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interactive design trends.
  • Can mentor junior team members.

You bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience designing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and mobile applications; a proven track record in UX/UI is required.
  • Familiarity with front‑end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and hands‑on experience in building websites and digital platforms is a strong bonus.

No matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love, follow in faith, disability (or superpower), status, ethnicity or the gender you identify with (please do tell us your pronouns), you're welcome at R/GA.
