Responsibilities
- A Senior Consultant at Teneo People Advisory helps to support the growth of the UK business as part of a global people advisory business.
- Proactively co‐lead the execution of individual assignments through the full search process, supporting the candidate and client experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in the research process to ensure a well‐developed and curated list of candidates for each assignment.
- Contribute to, and participate in, the pitch process.
- Discover innovative ways to identify high‐potential talent within a given market.
- Support new business development and client relationship management to enable delivery of strategic goals and financial plans.
- Demonstrate an increasingly commercial mindset.

- Anticipate the needs of the end‐user client (and internal clients) and communicate accordingly.
- Constantly monitor news, trends, and candidate movements; communicate industry news and relevant market activity for business development opportunities.
- With high intellectual curiosity, inspire and generate new thinking, insights, and proactively share knowledge across the firm.
- Develop internal and external networks to bring the most relevant expertise and insights to clients and team.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration across the business and wider group.
- Act as an internal and external ambassador for the business and its offerings.
- Engage in initiatives that enhance employee and client value proposition.
- Contribute to networking events and forums.
- Ensure all contact/information is logged on the database in a timely and accurate manner through all stages of assignment/business development.
- Ensure thorough and accurate coding on the database.
- Work effectively with the support team to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive a significant number of general interviews.
- Ensure best practice principles of the firm are adhered to and standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Research experience in the Insurance sector is preferred; alternatively, candidates with a background in broader Financial Services and a demonstrable interest in Insurance will also be considered.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, evident business acumen, and exceptional verbal and written communication capability.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan and manage time and resources and juggle multiple projects effectively.
- Emerging potential to develop into a trusted advisor, with deep knowledge of clients' business needs.
- Commitment to excellence with high attention to detail and pride in high performance.
