Manager, Programmatic

We’re looking for a dynamic Manager, Programmatic to join our team! With minimal supervision, the Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across programmatic platforms, while delivering meaningful insights and contributing to strong client relationships through proactive, professional communication.

This is a hybrid role based in any of our US offices — including Boston, Chicago, or Carmel — or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. This role will work Central business hours.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively manage key account campaigns end-to-end, including trafficking, buying execution, ongoing optimizations, and media planning support
  • Launch, track, and optimize real-time bidding campaigns to ensure client KPIs and performance goals are consistently met (paid search and social experience a plus)
  • Support client services through creative testing, pacing, delivery monitoring, and performance tracking
  • Troubleshoot technical serving issues, buying discrepancies, and reporting errors, communicating problems to the internal Ad Ops team proactively and with viable solutions
  • Partner with Ad Ops and Analytics teams to analyze campaign performance and develop actionable optimization recommendations
  • Support the monthly actualization process, including pulling 3rd party delivery reports and screenshots and flagging discrepancies for investigation
  • Provide regular campaign reports, performance updates, and optimization insights to internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Develop a strong understanding of client business goals, audience strategy, and campaign objectives to inform planning and optimization recommendations
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and evolving best practices in programmatic media

This position is a perfect fit for you if:

  • Our Company values — Best Together, Impact‑Obsessed, Excellence Expected, Evolve Always and Accountability with an “I” — really speak to you.
  • You are adaptable, resilient, and OK with adjusting your scope, responsibilities, and focus as we grow. When things change, so do we. We’re always evolving.
  • You are proactive, driven, and resourceful with strong prioritization skills and a desire to dive into the data.
  • You are highly organized self‑starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines.

What you should have:

  • 3–5 years of digital media buying/trading experience in an agency setting
  • Solid hands‑on experience with Google Campaign Manager and DSPs, including trafficking, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Strong working knowledge of programmatic optimization levers and ad server terminology (impressions, clicks, conversions, CTRs, CPMs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive approach to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and projects with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for reporting, pacing analysis, and performance troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities accurately under tight deadlines

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
