WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure Local TV buys are estimated in accordance with industry standards
  • Become proficient in all industry tools, both 3rd party and proprietary
  • Understanding of how to post a TV buy once complete, and understanding of the implications of said post
  • Build decks for TV buys and reporting if necessary
  • Negotiate buys with different stations to ensure optimal rates
  • Day-to-day monitoring, management, optimization, and development of assigned campaigns
  • Building stories and slides for client reports
  • Developing new approaches to optimize KPIs and improve Known IP
  • Potential opportunity for client interaction

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE

  • BS/BA degree from a well-regarded college or university
  • Strong working knowledge of the Local Broadcast media landscape
  • Experience using Media Ocean (Spectra and Prisma)
  • Required of 6-9 years of experience in Local Broadcast buying
  • Understanding of core TV concepts
  • Understanding of how to bring insights & analytics into a media buy
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail
  • Proactive individual who can work independently as well as with a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to think strategically about complex problems
  • Experience effectively and efficiently negotiating media buys
  • Experience working directly with clients is a plus
  • Experience with predictive analytics / data science is a plus

The base salary for this position is $90K-$105K.

This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
