The Management Consulting division advises senior leaders on strategic issues that define the success of their organisations. We combine rigorous analysis, commercial judgement and deep sector expertise with the broader capabilities of Teneo to help clients solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes. We work across a diverse range of sectors, including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Software, Transport and Telecom and Digital Infrastructure, amongst others. Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, key public-sector organisations, and leading private equity investors.
As a Director, you’ll be a key member of our senior team in Management Consulting. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, while growing and developing our team. Working closely with Senior Managing Directors, you will establish and nurture client relationships, contribute to business development activities, and support the continued growth of the practice. You will be an ambitious and commercially minded leader with experience advising senior executives on complex business challenges. You will bring a track record of delivering high-impact engagements, building trusted relationships, and leading high-performing teams across a range of strategic, operational and organisational topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and lead complex projects, working directly with a Managing Director.
- Demonstrate a strong consulting skill set, leading complex analytical programmes, generating insight-driven recommendations for clients, and producing high quality written deliverables.
- Develop recommendations from initial hypothesis through to refinement and validation with senior colleagues and clients.
- Lead case teams on a day-to-day basis, including workload planning, delegation, coaching and development of junior colleagues.
- Lead and support business development activities, including identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients, developing thought leadership, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring the successful delivery of client engagements.
- Build lasting relationships beyond the scope of individual project engagements.
- Lead client presentations and workshops, communicating complex ideas clearly and effectively to senior audiences.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline.
- 10+ years’ relevant experience in a Strategy, Management Consulting or a related advisory environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements and major strategic programmes.
- Proven track record of leading consulting teams and delivering high-quality client outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Experience developing and managing senior client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching and developing junior colleagues.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and approach to problem-solving.
- Experience supporting business development activities, including proposal development, thought leadership and client pitches.
- Experience working with public sector, or sovereign-linked organisations.
- Additional language capabilities at business communication level.
