About the role
Are you a social native with a passion for strategic content management AND managing creative talent? Do you have a flair for identifying and nurturing creators while developing compelling brand narratives? If so, we invite you to join OLIVER, the largest in‑house creative agency, as a Social Media Manager and Creator Manager.
In this role, you will collaborate with our international Strategy, Social, and Creative teams to develop and manage the social media activities of our client’s brand whilst leading the recruitment, briefing, and management of a network of content creators from our Creator Bench. You will orchestrate a compelling content calendar, manage community engagement, and oversee creator partnerships to drive audience growth and brand narratives.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and own the organic social content calendar, planning approximately 16 posts per month.
- Listen and respond to relevant consumer comments, questions, and brand mentions with on‑brand responses, cultivating a network of brand advocates.
- Identify engagement opportunities for organic planning and monitor social feeds for trending topics to amplify brand narratives.
- Act as the local market lead, ensuring all content is relevant, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the Scottex brand.
- Monitor social performance and feed insights back to optimise the content approach and future creative direction.
- Receive and interrogate client briefs, supporting brief development to social teams and other partners.
- Brief and review all content to ensure it is optimised for platform, audience engagement, and Italian market relevance.
- Oversee scheduling and publishing of approved content across social channels in line with the content calendar.
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding of content creators from the Creator Bench.
- Brief creators and oversee the content production process from concept to delivery, ensuring all output meets brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Track and evaluate creator performance using platforms such as CreatorIQ.
- Act as the key liaison between the agency team and creators, maintaining strong relationships and communication.
- Identify and nurture high‑performing creators to build a sustainable content pipeline.
- Ensure all creator‑produced content aligns with brand vision and strategic objectives before publication.
What you need to be great in this role:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management and/or creator management.
- Fluency in Italian (C2) and excellent written and spoken English are required.
- Proven track record of recruiting, managing, and developing content creator relationships.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms (particularly Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and their native formats.
- Excellent written communication skills with proven copywriting experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple creators and content pipelines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and think strategically.
- The capacity to understand business objectives and client aims when executing briefs.
- Familiarity with digital trends, popular culture, and the creator economy.
- Proactive attitude with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to spot content opportunities.
- Enthusiasm for the Homecare category.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Later, Buffer).
- Understanding of creator management platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, AspireIQ).
- Knowledge of the role of paid media and influencer partnerships.
- Experience with content production workflows and asset management.
- Excitement about integrating Gen AI tools with a curious approach to new innovations.
