ABOUT THE ROLE

This opportunity is for an Art Director & Copywriter duo to join a newly built global in‐house studio in Amsterdam, created for a leading international domestic appliances brand spanning categories such as air fryers, coffee machines, vacuum cleaners, and home tech. The studio brings together the pace and ambition of an agency with the strategic depth and scale of an in‐house team - delivering social‐first, digital‐led creative across global and local markets.

As a creative team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering bold, culturally relevant ideas that bring everyday products to life across social and digital platforms. Working as a true partnership, you'll combine concept, craft, and storytelling - translating briefs into work that is on‐brand, platform‐native, and commercially effective. You'll collaborate closely with designers, content creators, strategists, and account teams, while owning projects end‐to‐end - from initial idea through to execution and presentation. With the support of senior creative leadership, you'll help evolve both the verbal and visual identity of the brand across channels and markets.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Develop original, insight‐driven creative concepts for social‐first content, digital campaigns, and integrated activations.
  • Work as a tight creative partnership, combining art direction and copy to deliver strong, cohesive ideas.
  • Approach briefs strategically, ensuring work delivers clearly against objectives and brand goals.
  • Create ideas that balance brand consistency with platform‐native creativity.
  • Develop and evolve both visual and verbal systems across products, sub‐brands, and markets.
  • Collaborate with designers, motion designers, and content creators to ensure high craft and execution.
  • Work closely with strategy, social, and production teams to bring ideas to life efficiently.
  • Continuously generate proactive ideas and campaign thinking beyond reactive briefs.
  • Present concepts and creative rationale clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Interrogate briefs, challenge thinking, and bring fresh perspectives to problem‐solving.
  • Ensure all work is innovative, culturally relevant, and aligned with social trends and behaviours.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail across both copy and visual execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and act as a creative partner at market level.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven experience working as a creative team (Art Director + Copywriter) within an agency, in‐house, or integrated environment.
  • A shared portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and social‐first, digitally led campaigns.
  • Clear evidence of collaborative thinking and creative chemistry.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, copycraft, and idea generation.
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms, formats, and audience behaviours.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‐on execution.
  • Confidence presenting and articulating ideas as a team.
  • Experience adapting work across multiple markets or audiences is a plus.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies and creative tools (AI exposure is a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

BEHAVIOURS WE VALUE

  • You operate as a true partnership — collaborative, respectful, and aligned.
  • You bring energy, curiosity, and creative ambition to everything you do.
  • You take ownership and follow through on ideas and execution.
  • You're open to feedback and continuously push to improve your work.
  • You communicate clearly, support your team, and contribute positively to studio culture.
