We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Visual Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our design team to create visually engaging web design concepts and assets for brands across multiple industries, including B2B/B2C technology, startups, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about design and wanting to grow their skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply a strategy-led approach to executing visual concepts
  • Assist in the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with a user-first mindset
  • Assist in production tasks, such as creating icons or resizing images and optimizing files for web
  • Ensure design consistency across all projects and work within established brand guidelines when applicable
  • Visualize how to bring static designs to life with motion and animations
  • Present design concepts and articulate thought processes to build strong relationships with clients
  • Work openly and effectively with other designers and cross-discipline teams, both internally and externally
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in visual/web design

What You’ll Bring:

  • A strong portfolio that shows depth and familiarity with digital design and UX design principles
  • Strong knowledge of visual design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout
  • 1 – 3 years of professional experience in the graphic/web design field (agency experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills

Where You’ll Be:

  • For this role, you can be located anywhere in the USA
  • If you prefer an office to work from, our HQ is in downtown San Jose, CA
  • We operate within the Pacific Standard time zone and from time to time, you will be required to accommodate PST time for team and client collaboration
