What you’ll do

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will assist in creating branding and website mock-up concepts using a variety of creative skills. You will work closely with our internal developers, UX, and Marketing teams to support the creation of engaging client websites. Your role will involve learning and applying design best practices while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role requires you to work from our office based in Fareham Hampshire (Hybrid). Please only apply if you are happy to work from this location.

Your day to day

  • Support the Head of Creative in designing visuals for various industries.
  • Assist in creating websites using WordPress (Front-end) and software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
  • Help develop page designs, layouts, and templates following industry best practices.
  • Maintain client brand consistency throughout all design outputs.
  • Collaborate with Internal UX, Marketing, and Development teams.
  • Assist in creating digital design work, including display banners, website mock-ups, and infographics.
  • Add content and images, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to provide additional content.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all tasks are correctly time-tracked, logged, and managed.
  • Receive feedback from the Head of Creative and work on improving your designs.
  • Update the project manager on the progress of client projects and campaigns.
  • Manage your day-to-day tasks with guidance from senior team members.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and other team members.
  • Support the team in executing campaigns and projects.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by your manager.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 0 – 2 years experience in graphic design.
  • Good understanding of graphic design principles such as colour theory, font pairing.
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, especially XD, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Experience in designing websites.
  • Experience in designing logos and other brand materials.
  • Experience working with Figma (desirable).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and literacy skills.
  • Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
