About the role: As an International Payroll Specialist, you will take ownership of accurate, compliant payroll across EMEA — with Poland as the primary jurisdiction. Working closely with the People (HR) team, you will maintain data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure employees across multiple markets are paid correctly every cycle. This is a detail‑oriented role that requires someone who can navigate different legislative frameworks, manage competing priorities, and bring genuine rigor and care to every stage of the payroll process.
What you will be doing:
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for multiple EMEA locations, with primary responsibility for Poland, ensuring accuracy and compliance across every pay cycle.
- Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, employment laws, and statutory requirements across all relevant jurisdictions.
- Review and validate payroll data — including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings — identifying and resolving discrepancies before processing.
- Partner with the People (HR) team to maintain accurate employee records and align payroll with organisational changes.
- Respond to employee queries on payroll, tax, and deductions clearly and professionally.
- Monitor legislative changes across EMEA markets and implement updates to maintain compliance.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of payroll policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee data and uphold data security standards at all times.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Solid, hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end payroll processing, with in‑depth knowledge of Polish payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with payroll processes across other EMEA markets is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail — able to identify errors and resolve discrepancies with confidence.
- Experience working with payroll systems and HR platforms; proficiency with Excel or equivalent data tools.
- Clear communication skills — able to explain payroll matters to employees and cross‑functional partners without jargon.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a complex, multi‑jurisdiction environment.
- A high level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- Payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional or equivalent) is a welcome addition, but not required.
Our values shape everything we do:
- Be Ambitious to succeed
- Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible
- Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work
- Be always learning and listening to understand
- Be Results‑focused to exceed expectations
- Be actively pro‑inclusive and anti‑racist across our community, clients and creations
