ArmstrongB2B is a 60 strong, multidisciplinary agency that offers strategy, design, digital, social media, 3D, animation, photography, video & motion from a single source. We are based in Chester city centre and work globally with world leading industrial manufacturing brands. We develop marketing strategies that deliver exceptional ROI for our customers. Our work includes rebrand and repositioning, commercial strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, market diversification. We also work with clients on product animations, innovative web platforms, corporate videos, photography shoots and exhibition support.
Role and placement
The agency is looking for an Industrial Placement Student to join us for their year in industry for 2026-7 to expand their knowledge in marketing and account management and to support our exciting projects. This will not just be job-shadowing or basic admin, we are looking for someone to dive into agency life and get stuck into real marketing challenges and build relationships with our clients and creatives to drive our exciting growth plans.
The role will be based predominantly in our Client Services team, supporting and working with an experienced Account Director or Account Manager in managing projects and relationships of a group of industrial manufacturing accounts throughout Europe and US. You will get the opportunity to work alongside market-leading creatives, meet clients, fulfil client’s marketing calendars with planned marketing activities as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams.
Please note all of our roles are based 5 days per week at our Chester City centre offices.
Responsibilities
- Support the Account Director or Account Manager in delivering clients’ annual strategic marketing plans.
- Collating contact reports, meeting notes, briefs, scheduling work into studio.
- Building on and establishing new relationships.
- Population of weekly status reports and monthly statements of work.
- Keeping up with all admin tasks required for the role.
- Monitoring quality and deadlines.
- Day-to-day involvement in multiple projects from start to finish.

- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days with service) PLUS your birthday off
