  • Translate complex data and science into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across industry, investor, HCP, patient, and advocacy audiences.
  • Produce a range of deliverables, including press releases, backgrounders, Q&A documents, social content, investor presentations, clinical trial recruitment materials, and campaign messaging.
  • Own deliverables end‑to‑end: clarify scope, manage version control, act as writer, SME, or content reviewer; ensure projects are on time, on budget, and contribute to pricing and scope development.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities; triage requests based on urgency, impact, and client expectations.
  • Serve as a strategic scientific partner for day‑to‑day and senior‑level clients across multiple workstreams.
  • Review team‑generated deliverables for scientific accuracy, guide scientific strategy, and collaborate cross‑functionally within IC.
  • Continuously research therapeutic areas, client positioning, and scientific strategy to strengthen content relevance and accuracy.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on scientific communications strategy, balancing rigor with pragmatism.
  • Lead by example and develop team members through coaching, career path guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Accountable for delivering strategic and creative client programming and coordinating with Real Chemistry Medical Communications teams for integrated solutions.
  • Play a key role in organic growth for existing clients and in new business development, including research to support new mechanisms, clinical programs, and competitive positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to bring cross‑functional collaborations and create tactics and programmes to sell new ideas or offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline (MD, PhD) or clinical training (PharmD, MD, NP, PA).
  • 5+ years of communications or related experience, including advertising, corporate communications, PR, or investor relations—preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Familiarity with oncology, immunology, cardiometabolic/obesity, rare disease, or neuroscience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to handle evolving business needs, meet quick timelines, and present in new business pitches.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a scientific communications team is desired.

Pay Range: $145,000–$165,000 per year. Pay will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors, including experience, skills, certifications, and location. The company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.

Benefits: include competitive salary, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, paid time off, holiday pay, wellness coaching, access to online learning, and more—locally tailored to each region.
