Strategists are tasked with the day to day strategic ownership of an account, helping senior strategists or strategy directors achieve the vision set for the account with their support. A strategist writes and delivers great briefs, works closely with creative and media teams to make it a reality, and sells the strategy and work to day‑to‑day clients. While they work under an account’s strategic leadership, they are the engine that makes great work, which captures consumer attention, changes a client’s business and creates work that leverages culture. They learn how to move toward senior strategist and strategy director roles through practice.
Responsibilities
- Work with the PCS (junior strategist) to mine insights and cultural trends and transform them into actionable insights and creative briefs.
- Brief and collaborate with creatives to produce relevant and impactful work.
- Produce a range of strategic documents and recommendations.
- Develop platform and publishing strategies and share knowledge about opportunities in digital and social channels.
- Work with and present to clients.
- Monitor results and effectiveness, and continuously demonstrate where strategic improvements can be made through performance analysis and report creation.
- Engage in all parts of the strategic process: scouting insights and signals, working with creative teams to test ideas, collaborating with media to translate insights into action, creating reports, and partnering with clients to realize plans.
Qualifications
- 2‑3 years of experience in a strategic marketing role (creative agency, media agency, or client‑side marketing team).
- Ability to develop strategies, briefs and reports independently.
- Experience collaborating with creative, client partnerships and other internal and external partners.
- Passion for social media, technology and popular culture; experience running one or more of your own social media channels is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing strategy and how social channels can inform wider engagement and action.
- Authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
