Responsibilities
- Drive strategic medical thinking within our creative advertising team.
- Oversee UK‑based global medical copywriters, providing mentorship and guidance in the development of key content.
- Shape project direction based on client interests and desired outcomes, ensuring scientific elevation and tailored messaging.
- Conduct research on medicines, therapeutic landscapes, and competitors to inform brand communication and strategy.
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy team and Senior account teams to align direction with client strategy and insights.
- Collaborate with Creatives to ensure scientific/medical accuracy in briefs and resonance of outputs.
- Provide scientific guidance to teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client objectives.
- Foster strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support new business initiatives with research and pitch narrative development.

Requirements
- Experience in strategic projects with global clients, preferably in advertising or agency roles such as Medical/Scientific Strategist, Senior Medical Writer, or Copywriter.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MSc, RN, MD) in a scientific/medical discipline preferred.
- Ability to discern underlying challenges by actively listening and understanding spoken and unspoken cues.
- High client EQ, adept at adapting approaches to match client styles and interests.
- Proficiency in storytelling, presentation, and distilling complex concepts into impactful narratives.
- Strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and ability to deliver independent projects with minimal guidance.
- Proficient in scientific research tools such as PubMed and software like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the healthcare ecosystem and 4+ years of experience in launching biopharmaceutical brands.
