Role Summary

The Director, Insights & Evidence leads evidence generation and synthesis to inform value, access, and reimbursement strategy. This role sets the strategic direction for evidence planning and delivery, overseeing cross‑functional evidence initiatives and translating complex clinical, economic, and real‑world data into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of activities such as targeted literature reviews, evidence generation plans, and real‑world evidence (RWE) studies.
  • Oversee development of Global Value Dossiers (GVDs) and supporting modules (clinical, economic, humanistic, epidemiology/burden, unmet need), ensuring strong evidence traceability, quality, and version control.
  • Provide strategic direction for HTA submissions and payer evidence packages; contribute to JCA‑aligned evidence planning and content development.
  • Translate evidence into strategic insights that inform market access, reimbursement, and value strategy, including value story development, identification of evidence gaps, and recommendations for future evidence generation.
  • Ensure scientific rigor, methodological quality, and editorial excellence across all deliverables, including references, tables/figures, and compliance with client and style requirements.
  • Lead project planning and resourcing across multiple workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Manage, coach, and develop junior staff and contractors, providing mentorship, feedback, and quality oversight.
  • Serve as a senior thought partner to internal leadership and clients on evolving evidence standards and trends impacting access decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HEOR, RWE, market access, epidemiology, or related evidence‑focused roles; consulting and/or biopharma experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading evidence strategy and execution across TLRs, GVD development, HTA submission support, and payer evidence package development.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and communicate complex evidence into clear, well‑structured written deliverables, including reports, dossiers, and slide presentations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience coaching teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scoping workstreams, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining quality under deadline.
  • Executive presence, sound judgment, high attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MPH, PhD, PharmD, MD, MS) preferred in a relevant discipline.

Pay Range

$100,000 - $135,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
