We’re looking for a Design Supervisor to lead and grow a team of static and motion designers across a mix of performance and brand campaign clients. You’ll still be in the work—reviewing files, creating work, and setting standards—while also developing your team, owning quality control, and supporting the Creative Team you work alongside.

Responsibilities

  • Review and QA design work across static and motion deliverables before it goes to Creative Directors or clients.
  • Set the creative standard for the team and define what good looks like.
  • Bridge gaps between the Creative and Production teams on execution at the designer level.
  • Contribute hands‑on to high‑priority work when the bar needs to be raised fast.
  • Push back when work doesn’t meet the brief and show the team how to fix it.
  • Manage and mentor 5-8 designers across static and motion disciplines.
  • Give clear, specific feedback that helps designers grow, not just get through the project.
  • Identify skill gaps across the team and address them through coaching, pairing, and resources.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance check‑ins, and quarterly reviews.
  • Help evaluate freelancers and contribute to staffing decisions.
  • Own the quality of the work shipped across all brands.
  • Partner with Creative Operations to flag capacity issues, resource needs, and production bottlenecks.
  • Maintain and grow brand system knowledge across assigned clients.
  • Contribute to building and refining internal design standards, templates, and toolkits.
  • Stay current on platform specs and best practices across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Display, and more.
  • Use AI image and video generation tools as a regular part of the production workflow.
  • Help the team build working knowledge of AI tools and use them without compromising brand standards.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and guidelines around AI‑assisted design workflows.
  • Test new tools as they come out and provide honest, practical assessments.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of design experience in an agency or in‑house environment, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong skills in both static design and motion design, with the ability to give credible feedback across both.
  • Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
  • Real, hands‑on experience with AI image and video generation tools (Midjourney, Runway, fal.ai, Replicate, Gemini, Stable Diffusion, or similar).
  • Experience working on both performance/paid social creative and brand‑level campaign work.
  • A clear, direct communication style.
  • Ability to give feedback that is specific and actionable.
  • Comfort managing multiple clients and brand systems at the same time.
  • Experience managing or mentoring designers in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is mandatory.

Benefits

  • Unlimited vacation policy.
  • Monthly phone stipend.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • 401(k) plan with matching.
  • Dog friendly office.
  • Hybrid work opportunity.
  • Professional development program.
  • Seamless allowance.
