About R/GA
R/GA is a global digital innovation agency specializing in digital product development, brand transformation, media, and communications for major companies. We are on a mission to help companies grow by enabling them to change, across their business, the experience they offer and the campaigns that take them to market. Our work tends to be a fusion of what we call Stories and Systems: the narrative and the design, technology and the interface working together. R/GA is a brand but it's also a collective of atypical outsiders and misfits who drive everything we do through bold creativity and bright, strategic thinking.
The role
We’re looking for a Senior Art Director ready to take the step to Creative Director — or a Creative Director, Art — with real creative ambition and full ownership of the work. Someone who enjoys thinking, shaping and making ideas happen, and who stays deeply involved from concept to execution. You’ll work as a true creative partner to a Creative Director, Copy, building ideas together from the start and driving projects forward as a duo. You think conceptually and visually, and you’re comfortable developing work across formats — social, activations, campaigns, digital products — whatever the project needs. You’re ambitious but grounded, able to think big and execute with rigor. You’re resilient and willing to refine and push the work until you feel it’s right. You’ll collaborate with strategy, data, designers and technologists, and present work to clients around the world. You’ll work closely with the local ECD and with ECDs across our global network. You use AI as a creative partner to prototype ideas and push the craft further. We value people who take responsibility through the work, who don’t wait for permission, and who understand that here, you’re one Slack message away from making any idea happen.
