We are seeking a Client Finance Analyst, Media to join our growing Client Finance team. This pivotal role supports the Media Client Finance leads, helping to run the day-to‑day fiscal management of our Media division and assisting with media billing, media budget management, and overall fiscal management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client project financials, including budget management and billing rule setup and maintenance.
  • Support media‑specific financials – media plans/buys, vendor and media authorizations, and reconciliation of media spend against client budgets.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze staffing, utilization, and billability.
  • Collaborate with Client Accounting to ensure clients are billed in a timely fashion and that billing complies with client contractual agreements, including media billing terms and reconciliations.
  • Assist with AR, WIP, Accrued, and Deferred analysis.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Finance team.

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must possess sound judgment, be self‑motivated, and have the ability to work independently.
  • Deliver quality work.
  • Adjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing demands; meet deadlines by managing time and priorities.
  • Maintain working knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and general knowledge of company policy and procedures.
  • Professional communication manner and the ability to triage messages when appropriate.
  • Exhibit a positive, pro‑active "can do" attitude with all team members and a willingness to pitch in whenever needed.

Experience:

  • 1+ years' experience in Client Finance / FP&A / Finance.
  • Exposure to media finance, media billing, or agency media operations strongly preferred; experience with Mediaocean a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise‑level financial systems essential; NetSuite / OpenAir a plus.
  • Experience working in an agency (media preferably) is essential.

Pay Range: $50,000–$60,000
